愛迪生一生只上過三個月的小學,他的學問是靠母親的教導和自修得來的。
愛迪生從小就對很多事物感到好奇,而且喜歡親自去試驗一下,
直到明白了其中的道理為止。長大之後,他就根據自己這方面的興趣,
一心一意做研究和發明的工作。他在新澤西州建立了一個實驗室,
一生共發明了電燈、電報機、留聲機、電影機、磁力析礦機、
壓碎機等等總計兩千餘種東西。愛迪生的強烈研究精神,
使他對改進人類的生活方式,作出了重大的貢獻。

嬌:梗係啦!科學家發明好多有用慨o野,改善我地慨生活!梗係偉大啦!

Sa:而以下我地要介紹呢一位科學家愛迪生,仲更加犀利喇!
因為佢總共發明左二千幾樣呀!

嬌:美國發明家愛迪生Thomas Alva Edison,1847年在俄亥俄州出世,
1931年84歲離開我地,佢一生裡面,平均每15日就有一樣新發明喇!

Sa:愛迪生細個就己經好聰明的喇!仲充滿好奇心添!
記得有一次,佢見到草地上有D鴨蛋,於是就諗,既然鴨媽媽都可以孵蛋,
點解佢唔得呢?跟住自己坐上去孵蛋喇!最後梗係坐爛曬D蛋啦!
仲俾爸爸媽媽鬧添!不過就証明愛迪生自細就敢於嘗試慨性格啦!

嬌:另外,佢仲好鍾意問問題?!咩都想知,咩都要問點解!攪到學校D都師好煩,
結果要請愛迪生媽媽帶佢返屋企!所以愛迪生只係正式係學校讀過三個月咋!
而佢慨知識,都係由做老師慨媽媽親自教導?!

Sa:而由12歲開始,佢就在火車上賣報紙賺錢。雖然係咁,佢一樣咁鍾意發掘新事物,
仲成日在火車上面做實驗添!一D都唔偷懶。

嬌:到佢大個之後,就去左紐約開設自己?工程公司,而佢慨發明事業就越黎越順利喇!

Sa:1876年,愛迪生同一班志同道合的人,成立左實驗發明中心,
就係大家所講慨「發迪生發明工廠」;係呢度,佢創造左好多新發明?!

嬌:愛迪生一生最大的發明,梗係電燈啦!而為左推廣大家使用電燈,
當時佢又研究出供電系統。1882年,佢係紐約建立第一個發電站,
由那時開始,我地就正式進入電力時代啦!

Sa:小朋友,你依家可以聽到我地唱歌,都要多謝愛迪生呀!因為留聲機係佢發明?!

嬌:仲有呀!我可以拍戲俾你地睇,一樣要多得愛迪生!電影攝影機、放映機,
都係出自佢手?!

Sa:愛迪生咁叻,如果我地都有咁聰明就好啦!

嬌:其實愛迪生咁多貢獻,都唔係單靠天份o野?!仲要勤力呢!
好似佢就成日講「成功就係百分之一慨天才,加百份之九十九慨努力」!

22.童話作家-安徒生

(Hans Christian Anderson, 1805-1875)

安徙生是世界最偉大的童話作家。小時候的安徙生,家境十分貧困,父親是個鞋匠,在他
十一歲時病逝。父親去世後,母親改嫁。十四歲的安徒生就離開故鄉到首都哥本哈根謀生。
他會一度想當演唱家,但他的真正才能是講故事,寫童話。後來在別人的幫助下,他進了
哥本哈根大學。安徙生所創作的童話極富幻想,<美人魚>、<醜小鴨>、<皇帝的新衣>、
<賣火柴的女孩> 等故事,已被譯成各種文字,在世界各地流傳,因此安徙生被世人公認是
「童話之王」。

嬌:梗係啦!安徙生係最大的童話作家黎?!而我最鍾意就係《賣火柴的女孩》嗎?
個故仔好感人?!

Sa:咁你又知唔知安徙生自己的故事,佢點樣成為著名作家呢?

嬌:安徙生慨故仔就係由一個鞋匠的家庭開始!佢係丹麥人,
英文名Hans Christian Andersen,1805年出生,1875年逝世,有「童話之父」稱號!

Sa:佢爸爸係一個鞋匠,冇讀過咩書,但係就好鍾意閱讀,
所以安徙生細細個就受到薰陶,喜歡讀書、寫作。

嬌:不過好不幸,安徙生的爸爸在佢11歲既時候,就因病去世喇!

Sa:之後,佢媽媽為左完成佢爸爸的心願,所以無論生活幾艱難都好,
都要送安徙生去讀書。

嬌:小安徙生的文章一直都寫得唔錯,仲得到鄰居芬凱洛太太讚賞添!
所以佢每逢有新作,都會第一時間俾芬凱洛太太睇!

Sa:有一個朝早,安徙生又帶住自己?文章去芬凱洛太太屋企,想即刻俾佢睇!
點知太太的工人話時間太早,唔想騷擾主人!安徙生聽完就即刻大發脾氣喇!

嬌:結果,芬凱洛太太都有睇安徙生篇文章,但係見佢態度囂張,
就教訓安徙生話「一個虛心的人,至會成功,好似你咁樣,沾沾自喜,仲會有進步咩」!
安徙生聽完後,終於明白芬凱洛太太的苦心,努力充實自己,
長大之後更入讀哥本哈根大學,做左作家,寫左好多童話故事呢!

Sa:小朋友,你 地知唔知呀!雖然安徙生係偉大的童話作家,
但係其實佢最初係寫詩歌,戲本同遊記?!

嬌:直到佢30歲那陣,安徙生決定為小朋友寫童話,
之後就寫左第一本童話書《講給孩小們聽的故事》!跟
住幾年,佢都係誕節推出呢本故事書第二集,第三集,
送俾所有小朋友!計計嚇,原來安徙生一生總共寫左168個童話添!
